The magic starts in our cultivation room. In this area, we use techniques that represent the pinnacle of cannabis growing. By precisely controlling lighting, temperature, and humidity, every plant thrives and grows into the consistent premium flower you rely on.
Our flower rooms nurture each bloom to perfection, but that’s only the beginning of their journey. Once the plants have dried and cured, they move onto our production area.
WE WERE THE FIRST TO PRODUCE FULL-SPECTRUM OIL IN THE STATE.
Here, cutting-edge extraction and processing equipment is used to craft the oil used in our award-winning edibles, darts, vape cartridges, and more. Pure and clean, our CO2 extraction method guarantees no residual solvents.
Using CO2 extraction, we produce Full Spectrum Oil, otherwise known as FSO. FSO is special because it captures the complete range of cannabinoids and terpenes. This offers you a richer and more effective experience.

Founded in 2018, we’ve quickly become a top name in Mississippi’s cannabis industry, and we’re excited to share our story with you!
2020
In the beginning…
It all started in 2020, with a dream of bringing you high-quality cannabis products straight to your Mississippi town. From day one, our goal has been to provide you with the best cannabis experience possible.
Good cannabis wasn’t an option. It needed to be excellent. And it needed to be excellent in every way.
Every part of Mockingbird had to show how much we cared about you.
2021 - 2022
Building the Foundation
During these early years, we laid the groundwork for something truly special. By 2020, our 163,000 square foot facility was fully operational, complete with advanced cultivation and production technologies. This allowed us to start producing a wide range of premium cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and vapes—all with you in mind.

Innovation
In 2021, our dedication to research and development began to shine and your positive feedback fueled our passion and drive. Products like our solventless rosin edibles and CO2-extracted Full Spectrum Oil (FSO) gummies started to gain attention for their exceptional quality and effectiveness.
2022
The Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act
On February 2, 2022, Republican Governor Tate Reeves signed into law the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act (SB 2095), sponsored by Senator Kevin Blackwell. From this point on, the future of cannabis looked brighter in our state.
2023
The First Legal Sale
We are proud to be part of the historic moment when medical marijuana was legally sold in Mississippi. On January 26, 2023, Debbie McDermott purchased Mockingbird cannabis straight from our dispensary.

Your First Taste
As one of the first cultivators to market, we gave patients in Mississippi their first medical cannabis experience. After trying our flagship strains, many of you still rely on them to this day!
Mockingbird Rebranding
In October 2023, our rebranding initiative launched! With a new logo, new packaging, and new leadership, we worked to create fresh strains and products for you.
2024
A Milestone Year!
Thanks to your support and encouragement, our edibles won the Best Edible award at the Magnolia Cup. Mockingbird also took first place in both the Magnolia State Cannabis Cup and the inaugural Magnolia Cannabis Cup. Products like Leprechaun Gold and Night Sky were recognized for their superior quality.
